Notes:
To wrap in twisted stockinette, wrap the
board as usual for the stockinette stitch, but go to the far side
of each needle and wrap around the needle. This is like the figure
8 wrap. Wrap the end needles, on the opposite end from where you
start, in the normal manner, do not wrap around them as you did
the others. The picture shows how the board will look when properly
wrapped for the twisted stockinette stitch.

To wrap the drop stitch, wrap the row
in regular St st (not twisted stockinette), but wrap each peg
3 times when you come to it. Each peg will have 4 loops on it.
Pick the bottom loop over the top 3. Remove the top loop off the
peg and unravel the rest of the loops until you have 1 large loop.
Replace this loop on the peg. Repeat for each peg of the drop
stitch row. Gently pull down knitting.

Finished size: 7 ½ x 8 ¾

2. Knit 5 rows in twisted stockinette stitch. (See Pattern Notes)
3. Knit 1 row in dropped stitch. (See Pattern Notes)
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 (2) more times.
5. Knit 6 rows in twisted stockinette stitch.
