1,2, Bijou is an earring pattern set created for the Décor Accents Keepsake Loom. It is a fun and pretty project that works up quickly and transports easily – just like the Keepsake Loom!

Pattern Notes:

You will not need a tapestry needle because the wire is stiff enough to weave without a needle. To secure the wire ends, weave them into the knitting a little bit, snip the excess wire and crimp any sharp ends down gently with the pliers.

Four Corners (make 2)

Thread 4 seed beads on to the beading wire. Cast on 4 pegs with the crochet cast on method.
Rows 1 – 4 FS
Row 5 [FS, Pull up a bead, FS] twice.
Rows 6 – 13 FS
Row 14 Repeat row 5
Rows 15 – 18 FS
Bind off. Cut the beading wire and secure the ends. Gently shape the square with your fingers and push beads to the front of the knitting if needed. Attach a shepherd’s hook earring finding at one of the corners.

I-cordians (make 2)

Thread 4 seed beads on to the beading wire. Using the beading wire wrap 2 pegs in a figure eight. Wrap both pegs in a figure eight again so that there are two loops on both pegs. Knit off. Wrap again in the figure eight and knit off. Pull up a bead. Wrap in a figure eight and knit off two more times. Pull up a bead. Repeat until you have used all 4 beads. After pulling up the last bead, wrap in the figure eight and knit off 2 more times. Cut the beading wire and secure the ends. Gently shape the I-cord if needed. Attach a shepherd’s hook earring finding at one end.
