Summer is in full swing around the country. Here in Utah, Summer took its sweet time in arriving--we had snow til June! We could hardly believe it when we opened the blinds one day to see that there was snow on the ground. Thankfully, all the knits were still around and the kids were able to go out all toasty.

Now that the hot weather is finally here I tend to go outside more and either play on my bike (run or swim) or see my kids play. Portable, quick projects are a must during the summer! This issue of LKC tries to focus on quick, stash-busting, one skein projects.

Aloha my looming family! I know you have been waiting patiently for this issue of LKC to come out! Well you can blame it all on me, I ended up going on a Hawaiian vacation during the crucial two weeks in our editing schedule! ( It was to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary!) So sorry!

In the end I think it is worth the wait! We have some terrific articles and stash busting patterns that are perfect for summer vacation knitting! We are so blessed to have some great people who contribute to our efforts here!! Thank you all!
